EXCLUSIVE: Knicks Player Trey Jemison III and His Fiancée Bought $880K Texas Home—Just Weeks Before Start of NBA Finals
New York Knicks star Trey Jemison III and his fiancée, Alex Jean Glover, enjoyed a very special personal milestone just weeks before the team secured its spot in the 2026 NBA Finals—by snapping up what could well become their marital home.
Interestingly, the couple's new property is not located anywhere near New York. Rather, it's in Texas, the home state of the Knicks' NBA Finals rivals, the San Antonio Spurs.
Jemison and Glover, both 26, closed on their new Dallas-area dwelling on March 20, property records show, paying just over $880,000 for the newly built five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom abode, which spans more than 4,000 square feet.
Their decision to purchase a home in Texas indicates that Jemison may already be considering where his future lies beyond his time with the Knicks, which signed the Alabama native to a two-way contract in September 2025. This means that the player splits his time between the NBA team and its NBA G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks.
While the Knicks franchise guaranteed that contract in January of this year, it remains to be seen where he might end up at the end of the season, when he will become a restricted free agent, according to Spotrac.

However, Glover's job, which is based in Dallas, appears more steady. The Southern Methodist University graduate works as a volleyball analyst for Dallas Pulse, according to her LinkedIn profile. It states that she has worked as a color analyst in the Texas city for the past two years.
In a post shared on her social media accounts, the influencer and broadcaster explained why they had decided to lay down roots in Texas, rather than New York.
They will use the property largely as an "off-season house" while Jemison is continuing to play, she said.
She added that, because of the nature of professional sports contracts, it is never guaranteed where a player might end up being signed, so they chose to lay down roots in a place that felt most sensible for them, rather than waiting to see where Jemison might next end up.
"It makes sense to have a 'home base' somewhere where you actually want to live," she said, before noting that there is one other significant advantage to buying a primary residence in Texas: its lack of income tax.
"Also, it helps if you play for a team like the Lakers or New York in terms of taxes, because you're going to get taxed where your residency is," she said. "Also, most guys just want a home base where they can go in the off-season when they're not training with the team."
Jemison, who popped the question to Glover in August 2025, will likely join his partner in the Lone Star State when the NBA Finals draw to a close. The championship series kicked off just days after the TV correspondent announced the purchase of their new dwelling in a post shared on her TikTok account.
In the video, Glover could be seen dancing in front of the sprawling property. The overlay text read, "Mood because we just bought a house, my fiancé comes home in a few weeks, his team is in the NBA finals, and it's finally warm in Texas, so we will be outside all summer."
In the caption, she tagged Jemison and added, "This is gonna be the best summer yet. @TreyJemison me and our son can't wait until your arrival," seemingly referring to their dog, who was also in the video.
There is, however, plenty of room in the home for a much bigger brood. In addition to its five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the dwelling features an array of living areas, including two dining spaces, a game room, a media room, and an enormous family room with a vaulted ceiling. The enormous kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line finishes and appliances.
Set on a half-acre of land, the home also boasts a three-car garage.

The primary suite, which is located on the main floor, offers an enormous en suite bathroom with a huge soaking tub—which may well be big enough even for Jemison, who is 6-foot-10.
Ironically, in the listing for the property, the media room was described as the perfect place to "watch the game," almost as if it were written for Glover, who had to miss several of her fiancé's playoff games due to her work schedule.
Glover has also become an influencer, frequently sharing updates on their life with her social media followers.
“Before Trey got with me, he knew he was getting a working baddie, but that doesn’t make it any easier," she said in a video.
She confessed that she has been forced to miss many milestones in his career due to her job.
“That being said, we’re okay with it. I absolutely love my job. ... It actually allows me to see him more than I would if I had a normal 9-5 with being able to do something that I love, being able to travel and see Trey for weeks at a time," she admitted.
When she can, Glover travels to New York to spend time with Jemison, with whom she is tying the knot in August.
“I don’t have complaints,” she previously said about her current situation. “I want to be there, but a girl’s gotta work.”
Luckily, Glover was able to join her fiancé at the first of the NBA Finals games, which took place in San Antonio, around four hours south of the couple's new home.
The influencer shared several videos of herself prepping for the matchup—as well as a celebratory clip in which she was seen cheering with excitement after the Knicks claimed a 105-95 victory over the Texas-based side in their debut game on June 3.
"Y'all knew I wouldn't miss it, let's go Knicks," she wrote in the caption, while tagging her fiancé, whom she has been dating since 2024, when he reached out to her on Instagram DM.
