Sydney Sweeney ‘Spotted Touring’ $15 Million Retro Retreat in Los Angeles—Amid Rumored Romance With Scooter Braun

Actress Sydney Sweeney has reportedly set her sights on a unique $15 million Los Angeles dwelling—which was recently put on the market for the first time in 80 years and has, per the listing, played host to "royalty, presidents, politicians, and notables for decades."
The 28-year-old, who is set to return to screens in the new thriller "The Housemaid," which will hit theaters on Dec. 19, is understood to have been taken on a recent tour of the expansive Bel-Air abode, according to the New York Post.
Sweeney is understood to have viewed the vintage dwelling, which was built in 1936, just days after she and her rumored new boyfriend, music mogul Scooter Braun, 44, celebrated her 28th birthday at a space-themed party at Vibiana in Los Angeles.
Having marked that special day in style, Sweeney now appears to be on the hunt for a very special house—perhaps as a belated birthday present to herself.
One source told the Post that the property is particularly appealing to the actress because of its retro style, which has been meticulously maintained amid several modern upgrades.

"She likes old houses—buying and restoring them," an unnamed source told the outlet.
Realtor.com® has contacted Sweeney's spokesperson for comment.
The dwelling, which spans 10,868 square feet and boasts 11 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, certainly features ample space for Sweeney to carry out a renovation.
While the decor currently has a very vintage feel to it—complete with carpeted floors, wallpapered walls, and a pink exterior—the bones of the dwelling are rich in Hollywood history, having played host to all manner of high-profile guests over the years.
Joan Crawford, Joan Collins, and Candy Spelling have all attended dinners at the property, while French singer Édith Piaf once performed there for royalty and presidents, according to Compass listing agent Josh Flagg.
“It was a social hub for parties—one of the most important homes in L.A.,” Flagg told the Post. The abode is essentially a “time warp on the market for the first time in 80 years.”
The property, which offers "total seclusion," according to the listing, includes a sprawling main house and a guesthouse. It offers stunning views of the Bel Air County Club golf course.
The dwelling also boasts a resort-style pool, a "championship" tennis court, and a gated driveway.
Inside, the main house features a large foyer, a living area, a dining room with a chic marble floor, a library, and a chef's kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances.

Around the home, there are flashes of color in the floral wallpaper.
There are also multiple bars—making it the perfect place for Sweeney to entertain her guests.
"Built with exceptional attention to detail and scale, the estate truly epitomizes classic Bel Air Regency architecture while providing a remarkable opportunity to reimagine," the listing says of the home.
Outside, the property is surrounded by lush greenery and includes "an expansive patio with a barbecue, impeccable brick-lined pathways, and abundant floral displays," the listing adds.
Sweeney's rumored tour of the abode suggests that she is angling to add another home to her impressive property portfolio, which includes a California dwelling that she bought during her relationship with ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino.
Speaking to the Post, a source noted that Sweeney's real estate collection will not be affected by her split from Davino, noting that the actress has sole ownership of all the homes that the former couple once enjoyed together.
“Sydney owns all of her properties outright. She intends to keep them all. Johnny has zero financial investment in Sydney’s properties,” a source said.
Just last year, Sweeney upped her real estate game by adding a $13.5 million home in the Florida Keys to her portfolio.
Built in 2015, the six-bedroom mansion sits on a triangular lot facing the water on two sides. The listing noted it was a "masterful union of architectural splendor with the casual atmosphere that defines the Keys lifestyle."

Highlights of that architectural splendor include an impressive porte cochere out front, 19-foot ceilings inside, and an infinity pool out back.
The split layout has a breezeway in the middle, cleaving the three-bedroom main residence from an equally luxurious three-bedroom guesthouse.
The large kitchen is flanked by windows with views of swaying palm trees. It sits adjacent to a dark walnut bar, a breakfast nook, and a formal dining area with chandeliers.
The actress and her former partner also paid $6.2 million for a fixer-upper in Bel-Air in 2023, which sits on 1.2 acres and is currently under construction.
In 2021, the A-lister snapped up a five-bedroom home in Los Angeles for $3 million. The property was described as a "rare offering" by the listing. In an interview with Glamour, she described the home as "Snow White's chateau."
Sweeney has also helped her parents pay off their mortgage in their Washington home, where she grew up.
“As a kid, I always dreamt of being able to take care of my parents, so that was a really big thing for me to be able to do,” she told Who What Wear.
And Sweeney didn't stop thinking of her family in her purchases. In 2023, she bought back her great-grandmother's home, where her mom and grandmother were born.
“My great-grandma had this beautiful house. It’s a two-bedroom, cute house that they lived in. My grandma was born in it, my mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home," she said during an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show."
"When my great-grandpa passed away and my great-grandmother got old, they just couldn’t afford to keep it anymore. Last year, I called up the owners and I said, ‘I want to buy my great-grandma’s house back.'"
