It’s not often that purchasing a home requires buyers to buckle up for safety—but when it comes to this incredibly unique Florida mansion, all rules fly out the window.

The 10-bedroom, 10.5-bathroom property in Reunion takes home design to new heights courtesy of its quirky aviation-themed decor.

The home’s $2,199,500 price tag seems steep at first, but its one-of-a-kind features and furnishings are worth more than 10 times that amount, according to the listing.

The pièce de résistance? A retired military helicopter that was in service in the active war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan. The aircraft is valued at an astonishing $25 million, the listing states.

The nearly 6,000-square-foot dwelling first came on the market for $3.5 million a year ago. It’s now reduced in price by $1.3 million.

Built in 2022, the exterior doesn’t hint at what’s inside.

Sure, this home is a prime example of blue sky thinking, but the design comes with actual bona fides: It was put together by none other than Moe Anato, host of HGTV’s “Theme Queen.”

Anato is more than happy to chat about the interesting stories behind the design elements in this unique mansion, the listing states.

They include the $25 million military Puma helicopter, which has been retrofitted with gaming consoles, plush seats, and sleeping bunks.

There’s also a vintage plane wing as well as a biplane, flight suits, and other aviation artifacts throughout the residence.

“It’s not everyday you find a house with a retired military helicopter inside,” the listing notes. “Valued at over $25 million alone, it has been remarkably converted to a gaming flight simulator, bunk beds for an unforgettable themed room, and a one-of-a-kind art installation that fine art auctions would be desperate to get their hands on.”

The kitchen is a sedate affair, eschewing the plane theme.

Car lovers will no doubt be delighted by the 1930s Jaguar in the helicopter room. Of course, there are regular spaces, too, including the living room with a fireplace and the kitchen with a massive island.

The traditional bedrooms have traditional baths, and a pool and spa are also part of the package.

Located near Reunion Resort, the property is close to three golf courses, a water park, tennis courts, restaurants, and a gym. Just 7 miles away is Disney World, which offers Peter Pan’s Flight if residents of this unique home want more aviation-themed fun.
