New Jane Doe files sexual assault suit against Alexander brothers

by Jeff Andrews

Another Jane Doe has filed a sexual assault case against former real estate agent Tal Alexander and his brother Alon.

In a complaint filed this week, a woman claims she was drugged and raped by Tal and Alon at their shared residence in the summer of 2010, allegations that are remarkably similar to the dozens that have surfaced since June.

Oren Alexander — Alon’s twin and Tal’s partner in real estate — is accused of being present during the alleged assault and not stopping it, but he is not a defendant in the case.

The case was filed in the district court for the Southern District of New York, where many of the civil suits against the brothers have been submitted. The complaint was filed under New York City’s gender-motivated violence law, which has served as the legal basis for other suits as well.

It’s the 18th known civil case against one or more of the brothers since two women filed suits against Oren and Alon in March. The three brothers are also facing state charges in Florida and federal sex trafficking charges as well.

The brothers have pleaded not guilty to the charges and have previously denied all allegations.

One of the first civil cases — filed by a woman named Angelica Parker — was dismissed in January on a technicality related to the New York City gender violence law and New York State’s similar law. Parker has the option to appeal.

The three brothers were arrested in December at their luxury homes in Miami and charged with three counts of federal sex trafficking, with the state of Florida following suit with similar accusations. The brothers offered “any amount” for their bail but were denied.

They’re currently incarcerated in a federal penitentiary in Brooklyn until the federal trial begins on Jan. 5, 2026.

The FBI says it has interviewed 60 women who claim they were assaulted by one or more of the brothers. The incidents in the charges date back to 2010, but the FBI says the alleged pattern of behavior dates back to high school.

Tal and Oren Alexander became superstar agents at Douglas Elliman throughout the 2010s. In 2022 they left to form Official Partners, a luxury brokerage based in New York and affiliated with the white label brokerage Side.

Tal and Oren’s relationship with Side has since soured, as Side is suing the brothers and Official for allegedly defaulting on a $4.6 million promissory note. The lawyers originally representing them in the suit withdrew their services, claiming the brothers have failed to pay them. They’ve since found new representation.

Side was granted a preliminary injunction to freeze the collateral on the loan, claiming that the brothers’ arrest and subsequent incarceration presents a risk that it could be liquidated to pay bail or legal fees.

Alon Alexander worked for their father’s private security company called Kent Security.
