Kendall Jenner Admits She Wants To ‘Stop Everything’ To Design Homes as She Builds a Property Out West

Kendall Jenner has revealed that she is building a home "out West" and has even debated leaving behind a life of glitz and glam to design other people's houses.
The 29-year-old model opened up about her love of the "simple life" alongside best friend and fellow runway star Gigi Hadid, 30, in a wide-ranging interview with Vogue.
Jenner, who lives in Los Angeles, confessed that she had been eyeing a property in the West for quite some time and ultimately decided to get a taste of the country life by building a home.
The conversation about her new life began when she revealed that she wasn't interested in filming the Hulu show "The Kardashians."

"It's not my biggest cup of tea," Jenner admitted.
Hadid chimed in, "She’s one of the only people that I would let design a house for me."
Her best friend's comment got Jenner excited about her future home design plans.
“I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes. I’m not kidding," she said, not revealing where exactly in the West her home is being built.
"I love my space in L.A., but I also really love the simple life. I like getting up every morning and throwing on a bathing suit or sweatpants and no makeup and just being free with my day," she added.
Jenner continued: “I think about the future a lot, but I try not to overplan because you know I’m a planner.”
Hadid also revealed that she too has struggled with overplanning in her life.
"I can get very tunnel vision if I make just one goal, and I’ve taught myself more to just be open to whatever comes.

“I used to think I was a planner. I was like, I’m going to be married at 29 and have a kid at 30. But life kind of happens, and you’re just like, Oh, we don’t have control. Trust the ride," Hadid explained.
Jenner's main residence is a sprawling Los Angeles abode, which she snapped up in 2017 for $8.55 million.
The property boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, and a tennis court.
The home, which was built in 1991 and previously owned by Charlie Sheen, measures 6,600 square feet and comes with Spanish-inspired architecture.
“I like a house that has character. When I walked into this place, I was immediately drawn to the peaceful Spanish-y, farmhouse-y vibe. My life involves a lot of chaos and travel and high energy, so I wanted a home that feels serene, a place where I can simply zone out and relax,” Jenner told Architectural Digest in 2020.
It is unclear where exactly Jenner is planning on relocating; however, it could be in the same area where Hadid's mom, Yolanda, owns a sprawling ranch.
The 60-year-old, who is mother to supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella, as well as musician Anwar, opened the doors to the jaw-dropping property in a new video for Architectural Digest, in which she revealed that she and Joseph Jingoli are engaged.

For her Texas showpiece, she blended different aesthetics to create an upscale, yet casual vibe, she told AD.
"My overall vision for this house was industrial, modern, enjoying life, put your boots up on the table and just enjoy this beautiful Texas," she said.
The Dutch former model recounts that she was introduced to Fort Worth by Jingoli six years ago, and fell in love with the "mecca" of "cowboys and horses."
"I love the culture," she gushes. "The people are extraordinary."
Hadid then designed the home herself to bring her vision to mind. The entertainment area in moody black, with a fireplace, showcases her collection of crystals and old books from Holland, France, and Sweden.
