The U.S. Open kicked off this week—with many of the world’s premier players flocking to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City to battle it out on the courts.

Some have traveled from thousands of miles away to make their mark on the tennis world stage, with entrants journeying from Spain, Japan, Australia, and the U.K. to name a few.

But a good number of the tournament’s stars come from much closer to home, with dozens of U.S.-based players showing off their fine form during the elite competition thus far.

Coco Gauff, Tommy Paul, Taylor Fritz, Francis Tiafoe, and Naomi Osaka have all put on stellar performances in the opening rounds, and as it turns out, their property portfolios are just as impressive.

But who serves up the most epic real estate ace? Find out here.

Coco Gauff waiting for that perfect pick

Although she is arguably one of the U.S. Open’s most famous players—having claimed victory in the tournament last year—20-year-old Coco Gauff has yet to put any property to her name.

That’s not to say that she doesn’t have an incredibly palatial home to put her feet up at the end of a tough training session.

According to property records, the tennis pro’s parents own a stunning mansion in a guard-gated community in Delray Beach, FL. The family purchased the expansive home for just over $300,000 in 2015 and have since made some impressive improvements to the home.

The main upgrade? Installing a tennis court.

Given that the family relocated from Atlanta to Florida when Gauff was 7 to give her better training opportunities, it’s no surprise that they would provide her with the perfect at-home training facility.

Taylor Fritz’s winning condo

Fresh off an Olympic bronze medal in men’s doubles with Tommy Paul, the top-ranked male American player is back at it in Queens.

When not posing with Instagram-famous girlfriend Morgan Riddle, the 26-year-old is making his mark on the court.

He’s notched wins at Delray Beach and Eastbourne, England, along with reaching the quarterfinals in Wimbledon this year.

When not out competing in tournaments, he can hang his racket up in his cool pad in Miami.

Fritz plunked down $845,000 in March 2023 for a two-bedroom, two-bath unit in sunny South Florida. He was a winner in negotiations as well, as the corner-unit condo was listed in February 2023 for $899,000.

Built in 2018, the 1,096-square-foot, turnkey residence offers “five-star resort-style amenities and services” in a full-service building. Skyline views of Miami Beach and Biscayne Bay can be enjoyed from the spacious balcony.

Other perks include an open floor plan, a top-line European kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows. While Fritz has access to state-of-the-art training facilities, other residents likely appreciate that the building also comes with tennis courts, along with a fitness center, spa, and putting green.

Tommy Paul’s Florida home

Tommy Paul, 27, went pro in 2015. He has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 12 and has won three ATP Tour titles. He reached a major semifinal at the 2023 Australian Open.

And like his bronze-medal doubles partner at the Olympics, Paul is also a Florida man.

In July 2023, Paul picked up a custom mansion in Boca Raton, FL, for $2.5 million.

The mansion had been listed one month prior for $2,695,000, so he scored a deal.

Set in East Boca, this modern marvel blends luxe living and contemporary design. It’s close to shops, museums, beaches, and everything else South Florida has to offer.

The five-bedroom residence spans 3,200 square feet. Built in 2023, the sleek home offers 30-foot-wide sliders that open to the backyard. Wi-Fi ceiling speakers are set up in the living area and primary bedroom, which also features a marble-clad en suite bath and access to the outdoors.

The quarter-acre grounds feature a heated saltwater pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, and a covered lounge area.

Frequently spotted at matches is his girlfriend, social media influencer Paige Lorenze, a model with her own clothing brand. We didn’t spot any shots of her hanging out in Boca Raton on her Instagram, but Paul’s home does look like an ideal backdrop for a stylish shoot.

Frances Tiafoe’s country club spread

Known as “Big Foe,” the Orlando-born 26-year-old has put down some roots in his home state. He picked up a three-bedroom home at the Boca Woods Country Club for $1,155,000 in January.

The price he paid was slightly lower than the November 2023 list price of $1,254,000.

He reached his career high at world No. 10 in singles on June 19, 2023.

The charismatic star went undercover to promote one of his sponsors, Evian, handing out bottled water at the U.S. Open. Wearing a hat and glasses, he wasn’t able to fool everyone, but did tell fans to “stay hydrated.”

Built in 1986, his lovely home includes an office, spacious floor plan with a chef’s kitchen and adjacent dining area, and family room.

The renovated residence looks out to the golf course, and the outdoor space features a fenced-in pool and covered summer kitchen, a built-in wet bar, and a cabana with a full bath.

Perks of the club include two 18-hole golf courses, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, and fine and casual dining options. The mandatory membership fee is $95,000, the listing notes.

Naomi Osaka’s luxury L.A.-area mansion

The world champion with four Grand Slam singles has returned to the U.S. Open with quite a fashion statement.

Her head-spinning custom Nike outfits are the talk of the tennis crowd.

“My U.S. Open outfit is about the best outfit I’ve ever worn and I’m so excited,” she posted on Threads.

The Japanese tennis star also has a beautiful, luxury mansion in Southern California that’s equally worth being excited about.

The 26-year-old purchased the Tarzana property in 2022 for $6,266,000, reportedly from Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

Highlights of the four-bedroom spread include an open plan, informal and formal dining rooms, and covered patio space. The grounds feature a barbecue station, pool, and sunken sport court, along with a huge grassy area. The gated circular drive provides parking for 20 cars and a four-car garage.

Sloane Stephens’ real estate play

While Sloane Stephens, the 2017 U.S. Open champion, was knocked out in the first round of the tournament this year, she definitely brings her A-game to real estate. She owns homes on both coasts.

Lavish Los Angeles lair

The seven WTA Tour singles titles winner picked up a Los Angeles home in 2020 for $2.2 million. The 31-year-old told Architectural Digest that the pad is “modern comfortable.”

Built in 2016, the five-bedroom home features 3,500 square feet of “open concept living space” showcasing a California lifestyle, the listing notes. The living room comes with sliding doors that integrate the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Highlights include a lower level with a guest suite and formal living and dining spaces. The chef’s kitchen with a large island is the “focal point of the home.” On the second floor, you’ll find a luxe primary suite with a soaker tub. Outdoors, a pool and spa beckon.

The 803-square-foot unit has also served as a rental property, most recently for $2,000 a month in 2020.

Highlights include river views and a huge closet with a washer and dryer. The living room and the bedroom open to a terrace with water views.

The building features “five-star amenities,” including a rooftop pool, a two-story fitness center, and sport courts.
