Controversial Poker Star Dan Bilzerian Knocks More Than $5 Million Off Price of ‘Adult Playground’ Mansion in Las Vegas
Controversial poker player turned Las Vegas playboy Dan Bilzerian has knocked more than $5 million off the price of his “adult playground” mansion after the enormous property sat on the market for four months with no interest from buyers.
Bilzerian, 44, originally listed the extravagant, seven-bedroom, 14-bath property (which also boasts a 16-car garage) for the eye-watering price of $25 million back in August—and in doing so, earned the mansion the title of Las Vegas‘s most expensive home listing at the time.
However, not only has that title since been swiped by another staggering abode, which was listed in October for $28.75 million, the professional poker player has also now been forced to lower the ask of his customized dwelling, dropping the price to $19.9 million.
Located in the Spring Valley neighborhood inside a massive 40,000-square-foot, gated compound, the main mansion is a one-of-a-kind Spanish Colonial-style estate. The home was built over a span of four years, using imported materials from around the world for an exotic feel.
Inspired by Santa Barbara‘s Old Mission, the property’s creator was a homebuilder who knocked down several existing homes on the parcel to build his dream residence. Finished in 2005, the house sits on nearly 6 acres.
While the exterior of the main residence looks much like it did when Bilzerian bought it in 2018, he has made numerous (and very unique) updates to its interior and its grounds.
These updates include the addition of several wild amenities that have essentially turned the abode into an amusement park.
Bilzerian, whose home is regularly described as an “adult playground,” is a trust funder who has made a name for himself both as a professional poker player and a controversial social media star, regularly flaunting his lavish lifestyle on his various online accounts.
Oftentimes, his posts reveal him attending raucous parties across the globe, usually accompanied by a bevy of scantily clad women.
So it should perhaps come as no surprise that Bilzerian’s home offers anything and everything one might need to host a truly unforgettable gathering—although the property certainly didn’t look that way when he bought it.
“This estate transcends the ordinary it’s a lifestyle beyond compare,” the listing crows, before urging potential buyers to “seize the opportunity to own an unparalleled piece of luxury that stands in a class of its own.”
Nearly a decade ago, the home landed on the market with the similar price of $25 million in May 2015. But the asking price nine years ago was pure aspiration.
The price was cut twice and was down to $15.9 million by the end of 2015. In 2018, the ask was slashed even further to $11.8 million. Bilzerian then swooped in and scored a seriously steep discount in June 2018. He paid $8.5 million—a remarkable 66% less than the place was listed for three years earlier.
Bilzerian opened his doors for a home tour in 2022, taking a camera around the property while flaunting his seemingly debauched lifestyle (picture women sleeping in every bed in the home, stacks of cash spread throughout each room, and several other “unmentionables” displayed proudly in numerous areas).
From the outside, the home looks lavish; however, it gives away very little away about the over-the-top offerings hidden inside.
And even before one reaches the playgroundlike elements of the home, there is plenty to fawn over, including a hotel-worthy pool, a movie theatre, game room, gourmet kitchen, pizza ovens, and indoor/outdoor dining spaces.
For a buyer who loves cardio, there is an array of options in a nearly 15,000-square-foot building devoted to recreation. And it’s here where the home really takes a turn for the unique.
Inside the recreational facility are a number of amenities that one would never expect to find inside a private home—particularly, a full-size basketball court that can double as a “paintball field,” according to the listing.
Should a fun-filled game of basketball or a rousing paintball battle not strike your fancy, fret not, you can simply move on to the roller rink, hockey rink, volleyball court, or tennis court.
Still not satisfied? Perhaps the padded gymnastics and jujitsu room is the place for you.
Motorheads will be dazzled by the gargantuan garage, which Bilzerian used to house his expansive collection of ATVs, luxury sports cars, and recreational vehicles.
But how exactly did he afford all of this?
Besides having a trust fund from his Wall Street shark father, Bilzerian reportedly made his money playing professional poker and by founding his company, Ignite International Brands Ltd., which sells CBD products and vapes.
As the self-proclaimed “King of Instagram,” his hedonistic lifestyle is readily visible on his feed, with over 31 million followers.
