America’s Most Expensive Home Is a Vast $100 Million Equestrian Estate With a Bowling Alley

A $100 million equestrian estate on 77 sprawling acres in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, is this week’s most expensive home on Realtor.com®.
Dubbed Willow Creek Estate, the gargantuan property includes an Argentinian-inspired home built in 2008, “multiple venues” designed for large-scale entertaining, a two-bedroom guesthouse, equestrian facilities, an entertainment pavilion that boasts its own bowling alley, and a 15-acre bass-stocked lake.
According to NBC 7, the enormous property is the most expensive home ever listed in San Diego County. It last traded hands in 1994 for $1.5 million.
Other pricey properties this week include a Tribeca penthouse with a terrace in New York City, a Miami Beach waterfront oasis, and a Wyoming ranch known as Little Yellowstone.

Los Sueños: Attorney Robert Lieff is looking to part ways once again with his George Washington Smith-designed estate.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the attorney famed for representing the Exxon Valdez oil case originally bought the Spanish Colonial Revival estate with his first wife, lost it in a divorce, and purchased it again in 2012 for $10.5 million. The 10,700-square-foot interior boasts groin-vaulted ceilings, a wood-paneled library, and a primary suite with a dual en suite bath.
