There's something in the water over in Colorado—or at least in its real estate market, which has seen an impressive pair of extravagant properties list just days apart, each with an asking price of over $45 million.

The first of the two estates is a sprawling, 544-acre mountain retreat in Snowmass, which has shot to the top of the list of the week's most expensive homes after hitting the market for an eye-watering $49 million.

Featuring two parcels of land, the legacy compound, which is known as Lincoln Ranch, boasts a 501-acre primary parcel with four-bedroom estate, caretaker apartment, and three-car garage.

It also comes with plans to construct a 14,000-square-foot residence currently under review with a decision "anticipated by winter 2025/2026."

A secondary 54-acre lot also offers development opportunities that include "several ideal building sites."

Offering exclusive access to Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service land via the Johnny Draw section, the property also features trails, pastures, and views of Snowmass Valley.
