$6.5 Million Glass-Walled Nevada Mansion Offers Jaw-Dropping Views of the Las Vegas Strip

A modern glass mansion on a hill that soars over the iconic Las Vegas Strip has hit the market for $6.5 million—combining the luxury of resort-style living with the glitz and glamour of Sin City.
The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom dwelling, which was built in 2018, sits 16 miles away from the Strip in the elevated Vegas suburb of Henderson, NV.
Its location allows for a much quieter lifestyle than one could enjoy in the center of the city. However, it still allows a flicker of Sin City extravagance to burn brightly, thanks in large part to the enormous glass walls that perfectly frame views of the Strip.
What's more, those vistas extend all the way to Red Rock Canyon, creating a fascinating juxtaposition between human-made magic and natural beauty.
“It’s designed specifically to capture those views. We joke that in Las Vegas, it’s the same kind of view people pay extra dollars for, to see the ocean,” says listing agent Ivan Sher, of IS Luxury. “What’s unique is you get a Strip view from both levels. That’s very hard to find.”

To better emphasize the extraordinary views, the home has been outfitted with a $500,000 glass window and door "package," according to the listing. The main living spaces are all located on the top floor of the dwelling so that they capture the best vistas.
The kitchen, living room, enormous primary suite, and a second bedroom are all situated on this floor, with an open-plan layout allowing for natural light to flood the dwelling. At sunset, the wall of glass turns into a dramatic work of art.
On the level below are additional bedrooms and a finished basement with a family room and wet bar, spaces that have been given a very cozy feel courtesy of brick walls and warm finishes to balance the contemporary aesthetic.
Similarly, the main living space offers a marble fireplace and soaring ceiling.
For those with entertaining on the mind, this property could well be viewed as the perfect party paradise. Not only do the views serve as a real-life movie, particularly as the sun rises and sets, but the home's outdoor spaces are ideal for hosting.
Outside, there is a private courtyard with its own fireplace, as well as a vanishing-edge pool, which features a waterfall, and a poolside kitchen.
That waterfall adds a unique element to the lower level of the home, cascading down from the top level of the property and creating a curtain of water in front of the glass wall.
Accessing this outdoor area is a breeze through the lower level or by hopping in the in-house elevator from the top floor.

In the kitchen are luxuries to appease both home cooks and a catering team, such as a Wolf eight-burner and range slab finishes. You could also host others for movie night in the home theater.
Hosting friends and family overnight is also easy thanks to multiple guest suites.
“The owner is one of the biggest suppliers of windows and doors in the city,” says Sher. “The very best of the best was used because he built the house.”
The mansion is located in the Macdonald Highlands neighborhood, which includes many lavish estates, all equipped with high-end amenities.
Not only is the Four Seasons Private Residences Las Vegas being built here, “it’s highly amenitized and what you’d expect in a country-club environment,” says Sher. The home is located in a guard-gated community for added security.
“It’s very exclusive and very high-end," he notes.
While declaring that the home might be well-suited for a couple or a family, chances are it will be an out-of-state buyer, says Sher. This is due to Nevada’s lack of a state income tax.
“People move to Las Vegas, initially at least, to avoid high tax environments,” he says. “California, being our closest neighbor, we get a ton of people ... who decide to dip their toe in the market in Las Vegas and see how they like it, and ultimately they stay.”
